1. Acceptance of terms
By requesting a quote, booking, or using the services of DL Furniture Assembling and Handyman ("DL," "we," "us"), you ("the client") agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Our services
We provide furniture assembly, TV mounting, e-bike assembly, and general handyman services in Orange County, California. Specific work is agreed between you and us before each appointment.
3. Estimates and pricing
Prices shown on our website and in initial messages are starting points and preliminary estimates, not binding offers. Your final flat-rate price is confirmed before the work begins, based on the actual items, quantity, and conditions on site. A service-call minimum applies per visit. If the scope changes once we arrive, we will confirm any adjusted price with you before continuing.
4. Scheduling and cancellations
Appointments are arranged by phone, text, or our contact form. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please let us know as early as possible.
5. Photos and videos of our work; marketing consent
By agreeing to and receiving our services, the client grants DL permission to take photographs and videos of the work we perform — including all assembled furniture, installations, repairs, and other completed jobs, as well as "before" and "after" images — and to publish that photo and video content on our website and social media channels for promotional purposes. Such photos and videos will not include the client's name, address, contact details, faces, or any other personally identifying information — only the items or the work itself. If you do not want photos or videos of your project used, notify us in writing (text or email) before or at the time of the appointment, and we will not use them.
6. Client responsibilities
You agree to provide safe access to the work area, accurate information about the job, and the items, parts, and hardware to be assembled or installed. Please keep children and pets clear of the work area during service.
7. Workmanship and limitation of liability
We take care to perform every job correctly and safely. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, DL is not responsible for: pre-existing damage; defects in the products, parts, or hardware supplied by manufacturers or the client; concealed conditions inside walls, floors, or ceilings that cannot be reasonably foreseen; or damage resulting from inaccurate information or unsuitable materials provided by the client. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
8. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed. Accepted payment methods are confirmed at the time of service.
9. Website content
All content on https://www.dlassembling.com — text, images, and logo — is the property of DL Furniture Assembling and Handyman and may not be copied or reused without permission.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Orange County, California.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" above shows when they were last revised.
